New Green Hydrogen Ammonia Production Project in Inner Mongolia
The planned investment for the new green hydrogen ammonia production project in Inner Mongolia is 5 billion yuan, mainly including the construction of an annual production capacity of 20000 tons of electrolytic water hydrogen production facilities, an annual production capacity of 100000 tons of low-pressure synthetic ammonia equipment, and a comprehensive energy station. The planned installed capacity of the new energy power generation project is 700000 kilowatts.
The cooperation between China Energy Construction Corporation and Inner Mongolia has a long history. Prior to this, at the end of March, China Energy Construction Corporation signed a comprehensive demonstration project with Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to produce hydrogen and ammonia from green electricity in Bayannur Ulat Middle Banner of China Energy Construction Corporation. The project will build 210000 kilowatts of wind power and 50000 kilowatts of photovoltaic power, and can produce 10000 tons of green hydrogen annually after completion.
2023, 2024 or the year when the Inner Mongolia wind and solar hydrogen production project starts and goes into operation. In the list of integrated wind and solar hydrogen production projects disclosed by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Energy Bureau, more than 20 projects are planned to start construction in 2023, with most planned to be put into operation in 2024.
