On May 24, 2023, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Public Resources Trading Network released the announcement of the candidates for the investor's bid for the investor's bid section of the Chaiden-Tuke first-class road. The project was led by Shanxi Sijian Group and cooperated with Zhongshang Zhongding Holdings Co., Ltd. and China Railway Engineering Design Consulting Group Co., Ltd. won the bid.
The starting point of this project is located in Chaideng Village, Bojiang Haizi Town, Dongsheng District, and the end point is located in Tuke, Wushen Banner. The construction of this project has realized another convenient passage from Baotou to Shaanxi and other western regions. In the western region of Ordos, the G65 Baomao Expressway and the G18 Rongwu Expressway have been effectively connected, and the G338, G210, and G109 ordinary national highways have been realized. The connection among them increases the connectivity of the road network, enhances the ability to transport high-quality coal, and improves the road service level. After the completion of this project, it will become a modern equipment manufacturing and high-tech industrial base connecting Azhen, Jiangsu Industrial Park, Tu The bridges of industrial parks such as Kexin Energy Ecological Industrial Base, Wushenzhao Energy Heavy Chemical Industry Base, Mengsu Economic Development Zone, Sulige Development Zone, and Nalinhe Heavy Chemical Industry Base have made the roads in the area realize the connection between Inner Mongolia and Shaanxi, The reasonable connection between Ordos City and Yulin, Dongsheng District and Yijinhuoluo Banner, Wushen Banner and other banner areas plays an extremely important role in further promoting the sound and rapid economic and social development of Inner Mongolia and Shaanxi.
The route length of this project is about 100.1 kilometers. There are 28 bridges, 12 pipeline intersections, 20 culverts, 6 interchanges, 150 passages, 22 level intersections, 2 service areas and maintenance areas, and main line charges. There are 2 stations and 3 connection lines. The main line adopts the construction standard of two-way four-lane first-class highway, with a design speed of 100km/h and a roadbed width of 26m.
