In 2019, the smart rail tram was well received by the general public after the trial operation in Harbin. The vehicle route is about to be built in 2020. The people of Harbin will finally usher in the smart rail tram! Recently, the integrated service function dock of the Harbin New District Intelligent Rail Transit System Line 1 project started construction design work. The project is a construction implementation project in 2020. The intelligent rail system will be operated by the subsidiaries of Harbin Transportation Group.

In the first phase of the Harbin New District Jiangbei Integrated Development Zone Line 1 project, there are 3 lines planned for Line 1 (East Line), Line 2 (South-North Line) and Ring Line. Among them, Line 1 of Zhizhi Railway is 18.9 kilometers long and has 13 stations.

Smart Rail Station will have the following characteristics

1. According to the characteristics of the No. 1 line of the Smart Rail, the line design style is drawn up, and it is reasonably integrated with the surrounding environment to create a good urban landscape.

2. According to the station classification and construction site, the functional composition, construction scale, and facade layout of the 13 stations should be reasonably determined. They should be novel and beautiful, with a reasonable layout and smooth flow lines. In addition to transportation functions, stations should add convenient services, commercial outlets, pedestrian crossings, and other functions, and combine them reasonably. Among them, there are one hub station and four core stations, which can be combined with street warm corridors and commercial development to construct the second floor above ground.

3. The design of the smart rail station is integrated with the urban public transportation facilities. It is integrated on both sides. The combination of pedestrian bridges and station entrances at stations with wider roads is considered. The design integrates the function of pedestrian crossing of municipal traffic and the function of station entrances and exits.

4. Design of smart rail station, comprehensively consider the road conditions around the site, consider combining construction with commercial buildings or integrating commercial service functions, and integrate living service facilities such as unmanned supermarkets and drinking bars inside the station.

5. No underground facilities such as basements and underground passages are built in the station, and obstacles should not be added to the subway construction and underground works in the later stage.

In the first phase of the smart track, 13 sites including Baoneng City, Sunac Mao, Harbin University of Commerce, Northeast Asia International Trade Center and Songpu Guanjiang International will be built, and the North Shore Pearl District Station will be set up to transfer to Metro Line 2. The stations will all be ground stations, and it is clear that the project will not add obstacles to the future construction of Metro Line 4.

The intelligent rail express system is a new type of rail transit product. The smart track tram replaces the steel wheel with a rubber wheel. There is no need to lay a shaped track. The minimum turning radius is 15 meters. It can drive on a wider road in the city and has good urban adaptability. The smart rail tram has the characteristics of strong transportation capacity, low carbon environmental protection and fast speed, which can effectively relieve road congestion, reduce environmental pollution, and facilitate citizens to travel. Compared with the traditional low- and medium-volume rail transit system, the smart rail tram has the unique advantages of low investment cost, short construction period, and flexible operation.

As a self-developed product in China, the smart rail car has been sought after by the general public during the test run. Since it arrived in Harbin in January 2019, it has passed 13 tests involving low-temperature environments and icy and snowy roads.
