Recently, the second phase of the terminal area expansion project of Fuzhou Changle International Airport in Fujian officially started construction.

It is understood that the second phase of Fuzhou Changle International Airport's terminal area expansion project has a total investment of 6.09 billion yuan, an annual planned investment of 1.5 billion yuan, and a total construction area of about 480,000 square meters. The construction officially started on the afternoon of May 25, and the T2 terminal is planned to be built. Building, comprehensive transportation center, parking building, elevated and ground road systems, ancillary facilities and municipal engineering, etc., after completion, it can reach 36 million passenger throughput, 450,000 tons of cargo and mail throughput, and 277,000 aircraft movements.

After the completion of the expansion, Fuzhou Airport will enter the era of dual runways and dual terminals, give full play to the location advantages of the Maritime Silk Road gateway and the provincial capital city, and further support and promote the economic and social development of the Fuzhou metropolitan area.
