Jingzhou Taihu Port Irrigation Project

It is understood that the Taihu Port Irrigation District in Jingzhou City is a large-scale irrigation area that combines storage, diversion, and extraction. The original design irrigation area is 320,000 mu. (New) construction and supporting renovation, etc. After the implementation of the project, the irrigated area of the irrigation area will be expanded to 413,700 mu. The scope of benefits includes 6 township and street offices in Jingzhou District, 4 township and township offices in Jinan Cultural Tourism District and Shashi District. At the same time, ecological water replenishment will be implemented for Changhu Lake, benefiting Jingmen, Qianjiang along the lake all over the place.

The total construction period of the new expansion project of the Taihu Port Irrigation District in Jingzhou City is 48 months. After the completion of the project, it will greatly increase the comprehensive grain production capacity in the region, ensure food security and improve the living conditions of the local people, further improve the rural water conservancy infrastructure network, and ensure rural water supply. Safety, help realize rural revitalization, and accelerate the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
