The Shixiong Intercity Railway is a high-speed intercity railway with a design speed of 350 kilometers. The entire line is located in Hebei Province, connecting Baoding City and Shijiazhuang City. The total length of the line is approximately 166.805 kilometers, and it is planned to set up 8 stations (including the existing 2 stations). The total investment is about 29.44 billion yuan, and the planned construction period is about 3.5 years.

According to the initial plan, the route will lead out from Baoding East Station of the Beijing Guangzhou High Speed Railway in Baoding City, Hebei Province, and travel south to Lixian West Station in Lixian County. It will pass through Anguo East Station in Anguo City, pass through Ziwei Town in Dingzhou City, enter Shijiazhuang City, and after passing through Wuji County, turn west to reach Zhengding Airport Station of the Beijing Guangzhou High Speed Railway. Alternatively, a new Zhengding Airport West Station will be built on the west side of Zhengding Airport, and then turn south, Set up Zhengding East Station on the east side of Zhengding County, and then introduce Shijiazhuang East Station (High tech Zone) until it reaches Luancheng Station in Luancheng District, Shijiazhuang.

At the same time, we will promote the transportation construction of Xiong'an New Area with high standards and quality, accelerate the construction of a comprehensive three-dimensional external transportation system, and leverage the benefits of the expressway network of Xiong'an New Area's four vertical and three horizontal directions. We will promote the construction of the second phase of the Beijing Xiong'an Expressway to commence in 2023 and be completed and opened to traffic in 2025. And plans are made to upgrade and renovate national highways G307, G617, and S331, in order to smooth the convenient sea passage from the new area to Huanghua Port.

Promote the acceleration of the construction of the four vertical and two horizontal high-speed railway network, and cooperate with the acceleration of the construction of the Xiong'an New Area to Beijing Daxing International Airport Expressway (R1 line) and the Xiongshang and Xiongxin high-speed railways.
