The two-day 9th Forum on Infrastructure Cooperation between China and Latin American and Caribbean Countries and the 14th Summit Forum on International Infrastructure Investment and Development were successfully concluded in Macao. During the forum, guests from various countries had in-depth exchanges and discussions on infrastructure cooperation such as green transformation, digital innovation and smart transportation, as well as high-quality co-construction of the Belt and Road development.
The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. Many participants said that China will give full play to its advantages in technology and experience to actively promote the high-quality development of China-Latin America infrastructure cooperation in green economy, digital economy and high-tech, which will inject new momentum into the green transformation and economic development of Latin American and Caribbean countries.
