World's largest green hydroaminol integration project approved

Recently, the green hydrogen and ammonia integration project of the Songwon Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park has been approved by the Jilin Provincial Energy Bureau for new energy construction indicators, which marks that the first phase of the Songwon project has officially entered the construction and implementation stage.

The project is currently the world's largest green hydroaminol integration project, with a total investment of 29.6 billion yuan. The project is based on the medium and long-term development plan of hydrogen power Jilin, and takes the Hydrogen Valley in Northern China and the Three Gorges on land as development opportunities, and actively implements the important measures of the development strategy of CEEC30•60 system solution as a center and hydrogen energy and energy storage as two support points.

Project overview

It is reported that the project is located in Songyuan City, Jilin Province, and the main construction content includes new energy power supply, an annual output of 600,000 t of green synthetic ammonia/alcohol production line, an annual output of 50 sets of 1000 m³/h alkaline electrolytic water equipment production line and 4 comprehensive filling stations, which basically covers the whole industrial chain of hydrogen production, hydrogenation, hydrogen-based chemical industry and hydrogen energy equipment.

The first phase of the project invested 10.5 billion yuan to build 200,000 t of green hydrogen synthetic ammonia, the construction content includes 850,000 kW direct power supply new energy, electrochemical energy storage, direct power supply line, an annual output of 37,000 t electrolytic water hydrogen production device, 200,000 tons of low-pressure ammonia synthesis device, air separation device and public auxiliary facilities.

The project adopts a number of global leading technologies such as flexible synthetic ammonia technology solution and ultra-mild grid-connected technology solution, and adopts Wind hydrogen ammonia matching software with CEEC's independent intellectual property rights for scheme design. The first phase of the project is scheduled to start construction in March 2023 and be completed and put into operation in 2024.Editor/Ma Xue
