PowerChina won the bid for Cameroon's agricultural irrigation project
PowerChina Municipal West Africa Company has received the letter of acceptance for Lot 2 of Cameroon Benue River Basin Agricultural Irrigation Development Project.
The project owner is the Ministry of Economy, Planning, and Land Improvement of Cameroon, with funding from the World Bank. The project is located in the northern region of Cameroon, and the main project content is the 2944 hectare governance project for pressurized and self flowing irrigation water conservancy and agricultural areas. The project duration is 25 months. After completion, it will greatly improve the irrigation conditions of farmland in the region, increase agricultural production, and promote economic development in the region.
This project is the first project won by PowerChina Municipal under the SINOHYDRO+STECOL joint brand in Cameroon, and also the first farmland irrigation project won by the company in Cameroon. It is of milestone significance for the company's brand promotion, business expansion, and sustained and stable market development.
Weihai International Signed Contract for Congo (Kinshasa) Water Plant Project
The General Manager of Congo (Kinshasa) Zhengwei Company signed the contract for the Phase III project of Kinshasa Ouzuo Inner Water Plant with the person in charge of the execution unit of the Congo (Kinshasa) Water Project on behalf of the company at Tsinghua University. This project is the final phase of the construction of the Eurozone Water Plant, with a construction period of 20 months and a trial operation and operation period of 6 months.
After the completion of the project, the daily water treatment capacity of the entire Eurozone water plant will reach 330000 cubic meters, which can meet the water demand of nearly seven million people in the Kinshasa region. The successful signing of the project contract stems from the recognition of the company's strength, as well as the progress and quality of the implementation of the first and second phases of the European Zuo Nei Water Plant by the owner unit and the funding party, the World Bank.
