Weichang Miaogong Pumped Storage Project is located in Weichang County, Chengde City, with an installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts. It is proposed to build four 250000 kilowatt vertical shaft single-stage mixed flow reversible pump turbine generator units. The construction conditions of the project are good. Now, as a key implementation project of the "14th Five Year Plan", Hebei Province has submitted an application to the National Energy Administration for inclusion in the national medium and long-term development plan for pumped storage. This project meets the requirements of the national construction of a new power system and is also an important support for the transformation and development of Jiantou Energy.
