The 10th China-Arab States Cooperation Forum Entrepreneur Conference and the 8th Investment Seminar was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 11, 2023, attended by more than 3,000 delegates from more than 20 countries.

With the theme of "China-Arab States Working Together for Prosperity", the two-day conference will hold exchanges and discussions on trade, finance, infrastructure, energy and green industry, with a view to building consensus and enhancing practical cooperation. Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal, Secretary General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit and Saudi Investment Minister Khalid al-Falih attended the opening ceremony of the conference and delivered keynote speeches.

Faisal said that this Congress is an important platform for deepening the traditional friendship between Afghanistan and China, and will be committed to promoting the two sides to jointly build a common future for the benefit of the people and actively safeguard world peace and development.

Gheit believed that the relationship between Albania and China has a long history, and this session of the Entrepreneur Conference is the continuation and implementation of the first Arab-China Summit, which is of particular significance in the context of the global economic slowdown.

Al-falih said that China is an important development partner of Arab countries and the steadily increasing trade exchanges between the two countries paint a bright prospect for future investment cooperation between the two sides.

The China-Arab States Entrepreneurs Conference and Investment Seminar is an important institutional event under the framework of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum. Co-sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Secretariat of the League of Arab States, it is held in China and Arab countries every two years in turn, dedicated to promoting the development of bilateral economic and trade relations.Editor/Ma Xue
