On June 12, 2023, it was learned that a few days ago, the Binhai New Area low-volume rail construction and integrated development project disclosed that the project planned a total of four low-volume rail transit lines through the eco-city, and realized the convenient connection between the key plates inside the eco-city and the rail Z4 line.

Recently, Binhai New Area low-volume track construction and integrated development project has signed contracts with China Railway Construction Co., LTD., China Railway Investment Group Co., LTD., Beijing Urban Construction Design and Development Group Co., LTD., China Communications Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Regional Headquarters, Shanghai Urban Construction Group, with a total investment of 9.1 billion yuan.

The project plans a total of 4 low-volume rail transit lines, among which, low-volume rail line 1 passes through Haibo Road, Mingsheng Road, Haixu Road, Zhongjin Avenue, Eco-Valley, Zhongtai Avenue; The low volume rail line 2 passes through Hai Xu Road, Fan Island, Fashion Road, Ruyu Island, Hai Tian Road, Zhongtai Avenue; Low-volume track Line 3 passes through Ecological Valley, Airway, Yuze Road and Teda aircraft carrier; Low volume rail Line 4 passes through Yuze Road, Yusha Road, Central Avenue, Wanghai Road and Haizheng Road.

Through the concept of TOD development, the project realizes the convenient connection between the key sections inside the eco-city and the track Z4 line. Combined with the land functions around the site, the operation and development of urban central business district, group public space, neighborhood community service and other stations are classified, and the integrated connecting facilities such as building corridors, slow traffic network, transfer and connection are strengthened to improve the convenience of residents' rail travel.
