Angola, a landlocked country located in southwestern Africa, is known as the country of spring. Under the framework of the the Belt and Road Initiative, China and Angola have close friendly exchanges and fruitful cooperation in various fields.

Angolan Ambassador to China: I have heard about the Three Gorges Dam, and Angola also has a dam built by a Chinese enterprise. We are very interested in this and I really hope to have the opportunity to visit the Three Gorges Dam.

Just last month, the largest water conservancy project under construction in Africa, the Kaikai Hydropower Station in Angola, was successfully closed by Gezhouba. Ambassador Netu stated that this project is very important for Angola.

The Kaikai hydropower station is the largest hydropower project currently under construction in Angola, as stated by the Angolan Ambassador to China. As everyone knows, the development of all fields will require electricity, and Hubei enterprises have provided opportunities for development in various fields in Angola, also benefiting the Angolan people. The project is progressing very well now and is very close to completion. Even during the pandemic, Chinese companies did not stop working. I would like to express my gratitude to Chinese companies for their resilience.

As one of the first African countries to join the the Belt and Road Initiative, the achievements of construction cooperation have spread all over Angola. Chinese enterprises have repaired or built 2800 kilometers of railways and 20000 kilometers of roads in Angola, built more than 100000 sets of social housing, more than 100 schools and more than 50 hospitals. Neitu believes that Angola has a superior strategic position and can become an important hub for the African continent.

As we just mentioned, all projects are actually carried out under the framework of the the Belt and Road.
