On June 22, 2023, as the 12.72-meter-diameter Xing'an shield machine cutter head broke through the wall, the Yu'an 3 Tunnel of the Jinxing Railway was successfully completed, marking the successful completion of the main body of the entire Jinxing Railway.
According to Shen Huitao, the project leader of China Railway 12th Bureau Group's Jinxing Railway, the total length of the Jinxing Railway is 100.79 kilometers. Among them, the existing Tianjin–Baoding intercity railway is used from Tianjin West railway station to Shengfang Station, and the existing Beijing–Xiong'an intercity railway is used from Gu'an East Railway Station to Daxing Jichang (Daxing Airport) station.

There are 6 stations along the line, including Tianjin West railway station, Shengfang Railway Station and Daxing International Airport Station. The design speed of the new line is 250km/h.
The Yu'an No.3 Tunnel of the second phase of the Tianjin Xingjiang Railway is 2513m long, of which the shield section is 2080m long. From Gu'an County, Langfang, Hebei Province, it crosses the Yongding River from south to north, crosses the boundary between Beijing and Hebei Province, joins the Capital Airport–Daxing Airport intercity railway, and then arrives in Daxing District, Beijing. It is the only shield tunnel and the key and difficult control project of the whole line of the Tianjin Xingjiang Railway.

It is constructed using the largest diameter earth pressure balance shield machine in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, with an excavation diameter of 12.72 meters, a total length of 113 meters, a total weight of over 2600 tons, and a penetration error controlled within 1 centimeter.
As an important project for the coordinated development of Beijing Tianjin Hebei, the opening of the Jinxing Railway will further optimize and improve the railway network layout in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, opening up new fast tracks for the construction of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei railway on track.
