Recently, the first batch of wind turbines in Section B of Xiaojie Phase I Wind Power Project in Huidong County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province were successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The operation of this project will effectively promote the complementary and coordinated development of feng shui in Huidong County, and is of great significance for adjusting and optimizing local energy structure and industrial upgrading.

The Xiaojie Phase I Wind Farm Project in Huidong County, Liangshan Prefecture is a key carbon peak and carbon neutrality project in the Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle, and is one of the planned wind power base projects in Liangshan Prefecture. The project is located on the left bank of Jinsha River near the mountain ridge near the Qianxin Town, Huidong County, Sichuan Province, 30 kilometers away from Huidong County. The site has an elevation of 2800 to 3200 meters and a construction scale of 160 megawatts. Section B includes 27 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 4000 kW, 27 box transformers, 4 circuits of 35 kV direct buried cables, and other supporting projects.

It is reported that after the completion of the project, the average annual power generation will be about 460 million kilowatt hours, with dry season power generation accounting for about 70% of the annual power generation. After the first batch of wind turbines are connected to the grid and put into operation, they can save 70000 tons of standard coal and reduce the emission of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide by 160000 tons per year for the country. They can also reduce the emissions of pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide, with significant energy-saving and emission reduction benefits. They have high social and environmental benefits for promoting clean and low-carbon energy transformation, improving the ecological environment of the region, and promoting local economic development.
