Recently, the foundation pouring of Huaneng Shangdu million Kilopower wind power base project, the first wind fire and sand storage new energy base project in China, has been completed, and the project has officially entered the full capacity grid connection phase.
Huaneng Shangdu million Kilopower wind power base project is located in Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia, and is the first large-scale project of Shagehuang new energy base for wind fire storage and baling delivery in China. At present, 35 kV power collection lines and 2346 tower foundations have been poured, marking the completion of the civil construction of the project's fan foundation and power collection line foundation, and entering the Key Stage of wind turbine hoisting and grid connection.
The project relies on the 3.72 million kilowatt thermal power plant of Shangdu Power Plant to construct 1.6 million kilowatt wind power and 300000 kilowatt energy storage power plants. Among them, a total of 5 wind farms will be constructed, along with 5 220 kV booster stations. The project will share a 500 kV transmission line with the thermal power unit to transmit to the Hebei North Power Grid, achieving joint transmission of wind, fire, and energy storage, and the introduction of green electricity into Beijing.
The project is expected to have full capacity grid connected power generation by the end of June this year. After completion, it can transmit 5.235 billion kilowatt hours of clean electricity annually to the Beijing Tianjin Tang region, and can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 3.14 million tons year-on-year.
