Recently, the 1.2 million kilowatt source network load storage integration project in Gangca County, Qinghai Province, contracted by China Energy Engineering Second Bureau, officially started construction. The 1.2 million kilowatt source network load storage integration project in Gangca County is located in Gangca County, Haibei Prefecture, Qinghai Province, on the north bank of Qinghai Province, with convenient transportation and superior geographical location.

The project uses the abundant solar energy resources in Gangca County to transform the power load in the form of source network load storage. The total planning is to build 1.2 million kilowatts, build Gangca County Hot Water Photovoltaic Park and Gangca County Zhasuhe Photovoltaic Park, and simultaneously build a 330 kilovolt collection station and supporting transmission projects.

The 200000 kilowatt photovoltaic project of Zhasuhe in Gangca County this time adopts 550Wp single crystal silicon double-sided double glass module+fixed support+DC1500V series inverter. The installed capacity on the AC side is 167.1MW, with a total of 51 3.3MVA sub arrays. 26 modules are designed to be connected in series to form one photovoltaic string. Each 24-26 string is connected to one 300kw string inverter, and every 11 or 7 string inverters are connected to one 3.3MVA box transformer. The low-voltage AC output from the inverter is boosted to 35kV and then connected to a 110KV booster station for transmission.

After the project is completed, it can achieve an average annual power generation of about 13.6 million hours, equivalent to saving 103000 tons of standard coal annually and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 309000 tons. This is of great significance for promoting the national carbon peak, carbon neutrality and emission reduction goals, promoting sustainable social and economic development, and improving the ecological environment.
