Recently, the reporter from Jiandao.com learned that the Yantai Power Plant of Huaneng Shandong Power Generation Co., Ltd. released the second public announcement of the environmental impact assessment of Huaneng Shandong Peninsula North K site offshore wind power project.
The offshore wind farm is located in the northern sea area of Yantai, Shandong, with a central offshore distance of approximately 64km and a site area of approximately 66.2k square meters; The onshore centralized control center is located near Binhai Road, Penglai District, Yantai City, Shandong Province. This project plans to construct 42 WTG252-12MW wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 12MW, with a total installed capacity of 504MW. It will also be supported by the construction of a 220kV offshore booster station and an onshore centralized control center. The power generated by the wind turbine is connected to the 220kV sea booster station through the 66kV Submarine communications cable. After boosting, it is laid ashore through two 220kV Submarine communications cable. After landing, it is transferred to the 220kV land cable and connected to the centralized control center.
In February 2023, the People's Government of Penglai District, Yantai City issued the Notice on Printing and Distributing the Arrangement of Key Projects in the District in 2023, which shows that the total investment of Huaneng Shandong Peninsula North K site offshore wind power project is 5 billion yuan, and the construction is planned to start in October 2023.
