Under the Belt and Road Initiative, Malaysia has many cooperation projects with China, such as the East Coast Link Rail Link and Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park, which have brought investment and job opportunities to the local area and promoted the development of freight logistics. Michelle Chen is a young woman from Malaysia who is currently studying economics and finance at the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University. She expressed hope that the Belt and Road Initiative will benefit both countries economically, socially and politically.
