On the morning of July 14, 2023, at 6:00 am, following the command, a 22.90 meter long and 41 ton slab beam lifted by the bridge erecting machine accurately landed on the pre-set supports of the piers at both ends in a stable posture, marking the successful installation of the first slab beam of the Shanghai G320 Highway G15 Shenhai Expressway Bridge undertaken by the company, and marking the beginning of the construction of the upper structure of the bridge.

The G15 overpass bridge has a total length of 428.934 meters, with 124 designed cast-in-place piles, 83 columns, 20 bent caps, and 189 hollow slab beams. Due to the construction area spanning the G15 Shenhai Expressway, the construction difficulty is high and the safety risk is high, making it one of the key and difficult control projects along the entire line. Before construction, the project department will strengthen coordination and communication with the owner, property rights unit, traffic management department, and local government to fully solve problems such as delayed relocation and approval of power, communication, and green areas, as well as procedures for high-speed construction and traffic changes, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of construction. For the column lifting and splicing operation, the project technical team has established a research team to design a high-precision assembly construction technology for grouting sleeve assembled bridge four column piers, providing guarantee for rapid progress of construction. This technology is currently applying for national invention and practical patents. In addition, the project management team has continuously optimized the construction organization and adjusted the construction plan to address obstacles such as narrow construction sites, high temperatures, and typhoons, and completed all the underbeam projects with high quality and efficiency, leaving sufficient advance for the beam erection construction.

In response to the construction of super dangerous beam erection projects, the project department strictly follows the organizational plan, continuously conducts safety education and technical disclosure for construction personnel, strictly controls the safety performance of bridge erection equipment, and the project leader leads the team to monitor the entire process of beam erection. In the current high temperature weather, the project department reasonably arranges the construction time, sets up summer shelters on site, provides heatstroke prevention materials such as herbal tea, salt soda, and Huoxiang Zhengqi water to ensure the physical health of operators and ensure the rapid progress of beam erection.
