On July 16, 2023, China Railway Group Limited held an exchange activity with China Laos Youhao Nong Bingcun Primary School in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, inviting Laotian teachers and students to travel to China by train.

Teachers and students of Nongbing Village Primary School, parents' representatives, and employees and family representatives of relevant participating units of China Railway Group Limited China Laos Railway Project participated in this exchange activity. During the activity, China Railway Group Limited donated learning and sports goods to Nongbing Village Primary School, and also sent an invitation to teachers and students from Laos to visit China on the the Belt and Road · Beijing China Laos Railway.

During the construction of the China Laos Railway, the China Railway Group Limited China Laos Railway Project Construction Headquarters and China Railway No.2 Group paired up with Nongbingcun Primary School, donated rattan fields, table tennis tables, stationery, etc., and carried out extracurricular instructor activities.

Pan Tong, the headmaster of Nongbingcun Primary School, said that China Railway Group Limited and Nongbingcun Primary School are witnesses of the new era of China Laos friendship, and very much look forward to taking the China Laos railway to Beijing to study and exchange, continue to deepen the friendship between the two sides, and make useful contributions to further promoting China–Laos relations.

The China Laos Railway is a landmark project of high-quality joint construction of the the Belt and Road, which will be put into operation on December 3, 2021. On April 13, 2023, Kunming South railway station and Vientiane railway station of the China Laos Railway will open an international Passenger train in a two-way way, and Kunming Vientiane will be accessible on the same day. The Zhonglao Friend Haonongbing Village Primary School was built with China's assistance in 2012. Since then, China has continuously dispatched volunteer teachers to carry out teaching and provided educational materials, making it a demonstration project of China Laos friendship. Editor/Xie Li
