At 15:08 on July 11, 2023, with the last wind turbine of the Gaotai Yanchitan Phase II 50MW wind power project starting operation, the Gaotai Yanchitan wind power project of Gansu Power Investment Jiuhui Company was officially fully connected to the grid and put into operation.

The Gaotai Yanchitan Wind Power Project is developed, constructed, and operated by Gansu Power Investment Jiuhui Company, with a total installed capacity of 100MW and a total of 30 doubly fed wind turbines installed (including 20 units with a single unit capacity of 3.35MW and 10 units with a single unit capacity of 3.3MW); Supporting energy storage for the project is 10MW/20MWh; Build a 110kV booster station together. The first wind turbine of the project will be connected to the grid for power generation on July 1, 2023. This project is the sixth wind farm of Gansu Power Investment Jiuhui Company, which is connected to the new energy centralized control platform of Gansu Power Investment Power Monitoring Center for unified regulation and production operation.
