Recently, Yihua Ventilation Hydrogen Integrated Source Network Load Storage Comprehensive Demonstration Project was approved by the Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission. The project is located in Zhangbei County, Zhangjiakou City.
This project will utilize the abundant wind energy resources in Zhangjiakou City, and build a new integrated process of renewable energy hydrogen production based on the renewable energy absorption technology that the load follows the source, so as to realize large-scale local absorption of renewable energy. The project plans to build 200000 kW wind power, 240000 standard cubic meters/hour hydrogen generation station, supporting hydrogen storage device and 40 MW Hydrogen fuel cell power generation system. 80% of the project's wind power is used for green hydrogen production, with an annual output of approximately 10000 tons of green hydrogen; The supporting hydrogen energy storage system can achieve long-term and seasonal energy storage. The project basically achieves independent peak shaving and self consumption, without increasing the peak shaving pressure of the power grid system, and improves the friendliness of the power system.
If 10000 tons of green hydrogen is used for Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, it is expected to support 1750 medium and heavy trucks with a capacity of more than 18 tons, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 117500 tons/year compared with diesel vehicles; If used for pure hydrogen metallurgy, it is expected to support 100000 ton level hydrogen metallurgy projects, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 347400 tons/year; If used for green synthetic ammonia, it is expected to produce about 60000 tons of green synthetic ammonia per year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 145400 tons per year. The project has opened up a new chain of renewable energy, green hydrogen, and low-carbon applications, exploring a new model of green economy development driven by green electricity and green hydrogen, and assisting in the practice of the dual carbon strategy.
This project effectively reduces the cost of green electricity and green hydrogen, enhances the market competitiveness of end products, and is expected to provide some experience for China's green hydrogen parity road while overcoming various challenges in technology and engineering implementation.
