Azerbaijan is located at the Eurasian border and has a unique geographical advantage. It is the intersection of north-south and east-west transportation routes, but it was once unable to fully utilize its location advantages due to a lack of transportation infrastructure. President Aliyev said that, driven by the the Belt and Road Initiative, Azerbaijan can actively promote the construction of transportation infrastructure in order to achieve connectivity with China and neighboring countries and further open its borders. Currently, with the expansion of trade ports, the increase in the number of ship construction, and the advancement of railway modernization, Azerbaijan's sea and land freight volume is constantly increasing, and the freight time is significantly shortened.

Turning to the cultural values and cultural integration in the the Belt and Road Initiative, President Aliyev said that the countries along the ancient Silk Road are multi-ethnic and diversified societies, and trade exchanges "promote friendship and interaction among countries". He stated that Azerbaijan has successfully protected its cultural heritage and will continue to cherish and protect these precious cultural treasures, passing them on to the next generation.Editor/Ma Xue
