On July 25, 2023, China Datang Corporation Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the municipal government. The two sides will further strengthen central and local cooperation. According to the agreement, China Datang will open a million kilowatt integrated wind, solar and storage project in Baodi District and Jizhou District in Tianjin; Accelerate the promotion of Baodi District Lizigou Phase I 200000 kW Fishery Optics Complementary Project, Baodi District Lizigou Phase II Wind Power Project, Binhai Beidagang 200000 kW Wind and Solar Storage Integration Project, Jizhou District Heishiyan 30000 kW Agriculture Optics Complementary Project, and Xiqing District Wangwenzhuang 30000 kW Decentralized Wind Power Project; Promoting Datang Pandian 2 × Construction plan for 660000 kilowatt ultra supercritical high-efficiency coal-fired power unit project; Actively participate in Tianjin offshore wind power, the millions of new energy projects of the Blue Bay Ecological Seawall in Binhai, the Pumped-storage hydroelectricity in Jizhou District, and the projects of foreign power into Tianjin.

China Datang is a super large central power generation enterprise, specializing in power generation, heating, coal, coal chemical industry, finance, environmental protection, and comprehensive energy services. Its existing installed power generation capacity has exceeded 170 million kilowatts, accounting for 6.6% of the total installed capacity in the country.
