On July 25, 2023, the network reporter learned from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Natural Resources that a few days ago, the People's Government of Jiangsu Province issued an approval on the construction land of the Nanjing to Chuhe municipal (suburban) railway project.
According to the reply, Jiangsu Province agreed to convert 6.6135 hectares (3.0237 hectares of arable land) and 0.0390 hectares of unused agricultural land located in Pancheng Street, Pukou District into construction land and expropriate it as state-owned, and expropriate 0.3742 hectares of farmers' collectively owned construction land located in Pancheng Street, Pukou District. It is agreed to convert 0.0005 hectares of state-owned agricultural land (not involving arable land) into construction land, while using 0.0549 hectares of state-owned construction land.

A total of 7.0821 hectares of construction land were approved, of which 6.6140 hectares were converted to agricultural land and 7.0267 hectares were expropriated. It is supplied by the local people's government in accordance with the law and regulations, as the construction land of Nanjing to Chuhe urban area (suburb) railway project, and is included in the "one map" of territorial spatial planning for supervision.

Nanjing to Chuzhou Railway starts from Nanjing North Railway Station in Nanjing City and ends at Chuzhou Station in Chuzhou City, with a total length of 55.351km and 17 stations, including 3 underground stations and 14 elevated stations, with a maximum operating speed of 120km/h (140km/h reserved).
