Recently, the commencement ceremony of the Cote d'Ivoire Agricultural Products Processing Plant Palm Oil Processing Plant (Plant 1) project invested and constructed by Chinese enterprises was held in Gitrot, Cote d'Ivoire. Cai Dianwei, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group, led the group's economic and trade delegation to attend the commencement ceremony.

The representative of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of C ô te d'Ivoire, Koulibali, stated at the commencement ceremony that the palm oil industry in C ô te d'Ivoire has great potential for development. China has contributed to promoting the industrialization of agriculture in C ô te d'Ivoire and helped increase the added value of agricultural products in C ô te d'Ivoire. We hope that China can impart more technology and professional skills to local enterprises and farmers.

At the ceremony, Cai Dianwei expressed gratitude to various departments of the Colombian government and the Chinese Embassy in C ô te d'Ivoire for their strong support for the project in his speech. At the same time, he also thanked Yueyang Guansheng Investment Development Co., Ltd. and Meilan Group for their full cooperation in the project implementation process. Cai Dianwei introduced that the Ivorian agricultural product processing plant project follows the overall approach of engineering contracting, industrial investment, and import and export trade. Based on the advantages of Ivorian agricultural product resources, it is committed to promoting high-quality development of Hunan Africa bilateral trade cooperation. He emphasized that the group attaches great importance to the project and will take the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as a new starting point. With a high sense of responsibility and glorious mission, the group will actively fulfill the project's obligations, assist Ivorian agriculture in accelerating transformation and upgrading, and promote China Kuwait economic and trade cooperation to a new level in the new era.

Edmund Coulibari stated that agriculture is a pillar industry of the Ivorian economy. The cooperation in the agricultural product processing plant project has provided support for the development of Ivorian agriculture, greatly increasing the added value of Ivorian agricultural products, and will further promote the export of Ivorian palm oil and other agricultural products to China and the local economic development.

Emmanuel Tra Bi emphasized in his speech that the construction of this project will effectively promote the increase of palm oil production capacity in C ô te d'Ivoire, promote local economic prosperity and development, and benefit the people.
