After the Belt and Road Initiative was proposed, China XD Electric Co., Ltd. participated in the construction of the first direct current transmission project in Pakistan - Myrtiari - Lahore ±660kV DC transmission project was put into operation. The project will significantly improve the level of Pakistan's energy and power infrastructure and the ability to serve social and economic development, promote the backbone grid upgrade of Pakistan's power system, and enter a new era of AC-DC hybrid power grid, and also mark another achievement of China XD's participation in the construction of the Belt and Road.
