The Zhonghe Shangyi 600MW photovoltaic project was awarded by Sinohydro Bureau 4 as the general contracting leader in conjunction with Shanghai Electric Power Design Institute in the EPC general contracting mode. It undertook all the survey and design work, all the civil construction and equipment procurement and installation works of the photovoltaic field, booster station and integrated line projects, and adopted the "grazing light complementary" composite photovoltaic mode. After the project is completed and put into operation, it can provide about 970 million kilowatt hours of clean electricity to the power grid every year, save about 294700 tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 808700 tons, and reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by about 148.46 tons. The energy-saving and emission reduction benefits are significant.
