On July 29, 2023, the bidding results of the construction general contracting project for the second phase of the new railway Toumen Port Branch Line from Toumen New Area to Toumen Port were announced at the Zhejiang Provincial Public Resource Trading Center. After the completion of the project, it will connect Hangzhou hub northward via Jinhua–Taizhou railway and the existing Shanghai–Kunming railway, connect Shanghai and Jiangsu, lead west to Jiangxi and radiate to inland hinterland such as central south and southwest, which has far-reaching significance for Jinhua–Taizhou railway.
Project Overview
The construction scale of the Toumen Port Branch Line Phase II from Toumen New Area to Toumen Port Section starts from the Toumen Port Station of the first phase of the Toumen Port Branch Line, extends eastward across the Beiyang Phase I embankment, travels in front of the planned Lingang Avenue, turns south along the tidal buffer zone on the west side of the Lingang Avenue, and reaches the Shugang Avenue, turns east parallel to the north side of the Shugang Avenue, and after boarding the Toumen Island, sets up the Toumen Port East Station.
Railway grade: Class III; Number of main lines: single line; Design driving speed: 80 kilometers per hour.
The total length of the Phase II main line is 14.508km, including a bridge section of 12.154km and a roadbed section of 2.724km. A total of one super large bridge and two stations are designed along the line. The construction site is located in Linhai City, Zhejiang Province, and is planned to be completed in 2027.
Scope of bidding
Including but not limited to subgrade works, track works, station works, bridge works, Telecommunications engineering, signal works, information works, power works, electrification works, catenary works, water supply and drainage works, housing construction works, etc., the construction drawings and bill of quantities shall prevail.
Winning the bid result
