Sinohydro Bureau 4 won the bid for the Philippine wind power project
Recently, Power China's Hydroelectric Bureau 4 successfully won the bid for the wind turbine tower fabrication project of the largest wind power project in the Philippines - the 212.5 MW onshore wind farm in Talim and the 93.75 MW onshore wind farm in Sabrano. This is also the first time that the Philippines has purchased Chinoiserie products, marking the official entry of Chinoiserie into the Philippine market. The winning bid includes the supply of 49 wind turbine towers for two projects, with a unit weight of 305 tons and a total engineering quantity of approximately 15000 tons. Due to its long-term dependence on imported fossil fuels and increasing energy demand, the Philippine government continues to increase its support for renewable energy in order to solve the problem of insufficient electricity supply. It plans to achieve 50% of the electricity structure from renewable energy by 2040, with an estimated installed capacity of approximately 11.8 gigawatts of wind power. This project will comprehensively promote the transformation and development of renewable energy in the Philippines, assist the Philippine government in achieving carbon reduction goals by 2030, and actively promote cooperation between China and the Philippines in the field of renewable energy development.Editor/Ma Xue
