Recently, the commencement ceremony of major projects in the third quarter of 2023 in the autonomous region and CGN's 1 million kilowatt wind power project in Ruoqiang County, Bazhou was held in Ruoqiang County. Six key projects were launched in a centralized manner, with a total investment of 29.8 billion yuan. The project supports incremental quality improvement and helps high-quality development.

It is reported that the projects under centralized construction this time cover fields such as mineral resources, clean energy, equipment manufacturing, and have both economic and social benefits. They are CGN Bazhou Ruoqiang 1 million kilowatt wind power, CGN New Energy 4 million kilowatt photovoltaic, Envision Energy wind power, Dongfang Electric blade host, Karchard 1.2 million ton/year fluorite mining and dressing project, and Huadian Bazhou hybrid energy storage 1 million kilowatt wind power integration projects, with a total investment of 29.8 billion yuan.

We rely on the abundant fluorite resources in Ruoqiang to construct the Kalqar 1.2 million ton/year fluorite mining and beneficiation project, with a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan. After completion, the annual output value will be around 900 million yuan, achieving profits and taxes of 300 million yuan, and driving employment of over 200 people. Since 2023, key construction projects in Ruoqiang County have ushered in an upsurge of construction, and all projects have been fully utilized to seize the golden period of construction. The concentrated commencement of this project will further improve the Ruoqiang industrial chain, expand the industrial volume, enrich the industrial form, enhance the industrial level, and promote high-quality development of the regional economy and society.

Lu Ninghai, director of the Development and Reform Commission of Ruoqiang County, said: there are three major projects under centralized construction this time, including three new energy projects, one green mine project, and two equipment manufacturing projects. The investment intensity is large and the economic benefits are good. After the completion of the project, the average annual output value is about 7.2 billion yuan, and the profits and taxes are 860 million yuan. It will certainly provide strong support for our county to accelerate the building of a 10 million Kilopower level new energy base, promote the construction of green mines and new material industries, and inject new impetus and vitality into the high-quality economic and social development of the county.

Next, Ruoqiang County will rely on its unique location and abundant resources to build eight green mines, including potash, lithium, silicon and fluorine, implement two new projects of new materials and new energy, build five industrial clusters of green mines, new materials, salt chemicals, new energy and equipment manufacturing, actively integrate into the construction of the economic belt around Tarim, make every effort to build Ruoqiang New City, and strive to build Ruoqiang into an important growth pole for high-quality economic development in Bazhou.Editor/Ma Xue
