On August 5, 2023, the Dazhou City Investment Promotion Conference and Cooperation Project Agreement Signing Ceremony in Dazhu County, Sichuan Province was held in Shenzhen. Dazhu County signed a total of 5 projects with a planned total investment of 23.49 billion yuan, covering fields such as electronic information, intelligent equipment, and light textile clothing.

Ou Yichun, Chairman of Jiangsu Chaojing New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., introduced that "we plan to invest in the construction of a high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon rod project in the Dazhu Economic Development Zone, which will be divided into three phases." The first phase of the project plans to build a 10GW monocrystalline silicon rod production project, and the second and third phases plan to build a "5GW+5GW" monocrystalline silicon TOPCON technology battery project. After production, it will complement the upstream and downstream of the local photovoltaic industry with the first phase, amplifying the advantages of the entire industry chain.

The large order of over 20 billion yuan is also the beginning of the Dazhu County Party Committee's in-depth promotion of new industrialization and the acceleration of the construction of a modern industrial system. On July 28, 2023, Dazhu held a plenary session of the county party committee, which clearly defined the cultivation of "1+2+N" key industrial clusters as the main line, the construction of 100 billion level parks as the starting point, and the creation of 10 billion level enterprises as the focus to create a modern industrial system with Dazhu characteristics.

In recent years, Dazhu County has adhered to the principle of focusing on industry and manufacturing, with the goal of becoming one of the top 100 counties in western China. It has cultivated and developed over 200 enterprises above designated size, accounting for one-fifth of the city's total.
