The scale of channel logistics has also grown rapidly, taking port transportation as an example, from 2019 to 2022, the container throughput of Beibu Gulf Port has increased from 3.82 million TEU to 7.02 million TEU, and the growth rate ranks the forefront of major coastal ports in the country. The business environment of the channel continues to improve. It is reported that at present, the comprehensive charge of Beibu Gulf Port is basically the same as that of major domestic ports. In 2022, the overall customs clearance time for imports and exports at Guangxi ports will be greatly reduced, and the customs clearance time will be further improved. With the acceleration of the construction of the new land-sea corridor in the West, Guangxi's level of opening up and cooperation continues to improve. In 2022, the total import and export trade of provinces along the new land-sea Corridor through Guangxi ports exceeded 500 billion yuan, reaching a record high, and in the first half of 2023, the total has exceeded 290 billion yuan, an increase of nearly 50%, and the radiation driving role of the channel has been significantly enhanced.
