On August 6, 2023, Kezhou Tianshan Cement Company held a commencement ceremony for the construction project of waste heat power generation.

This project is an important measure for Kezhou Tianshan Cement Company to create a first-class enterprise, and also a firm action to deeply implement the 14th Five Year Plan deployment, promote the optimization and upgrading of the cement industry, and serve the high-quality development of the economy and society. The project is equipped with a 10MW steam turbine, a 12MW generator unit, an AQC boiler, and an SP boiler. After completion, the power station can start and stop with one click and operate intelligently. The annual power generation is 44.08 million kilowatt hours, and the annual carbon emissions are reduced by 3700 tons, which has good environmental, social, and economic benefits.

Next, under the leadership of New Tianshan Cement and Xinjiang Cement, Kezhou Tianshan Cement Company will firmly practice the concept of resource utilization and service construction, strengthen the application of energy-saving and emission reduction new technologies and equipment, continuously improve energy comprehensive utilization efficiency, and contribute to the implementation of the dual carbon goal and the creation of an environmentally friendly and resource saving economy and society.
