In response to the rise in electricity bills caused by high inflation and energy crisis, more and more households in Germany are choosing to install solar panels to save costs.

Affected by the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Germany is facing an energy crisis that, on the one hand, aggravates people's concerns about the safety and security of energy supply, on the other hand, rapidly pushes up inflation and makes people's life pressure soar. Alleviating the pressure on energy prices and hoping to ensure supply stability are the main driving forces for people to consider solar power generation. According to the average annual electricity consumption of a family of four in Germany of 4500 kilowatt hours, if a rooftop photovoltaic system with an annual power generation capacity of 4000 kilowatt hours is chosen to be installed in early 2022, by August 2023, solar power generation can be about 70% cheaper than the public grid.

More importantly, it can save money and keep people away from the impact of soaring electricity prices.

Statistical data shows that in 2022, Germany's solar power generation increased by nearly 19% year-on-year, and the installed household solar energy increased by 52% year-on-year. China is the largest importer of photovoltaic energy storage products from Germany, with 87% of Germany's imported photovoltaic energy storage products coming from China.
