On August 16th, the delivery ceremony of the 5G intelligent remote control electric clearing machinery technology cooperation research project jointly built by Liugong and a certain port group was grandly held. Three Liugong 5G remote control electric loaders 856HE MAX and one Liugong 5G remote control electric excavator 922FE were delivered for use, filling the technological gap in new energy and unmanned driving in China's bulk cargo ports, and continuously promoting the green and intelligent transformation and upgrading of ports.

With its unique geographical advantage, the port has an annual cargo throughput of over 100 million tons, making it a nationally approved first class open port, a bulk cargo business center, and a bulk production material trading center. As one of the first pilot units for the full coverage of 5G signals, the port signed a technical cooperation agreement with Liugong on 5G intelligent remote control electric loaders in October 2021, working together to explore green and low-carbon solutions for replacing traditional equipment with new energy equipment and manual operation with intelligent operation in the port area.

It is understood that traditional port manual operations are labor-intensive, and the working environment for ship cleaning is semi sealed, making it difficult to discharge toxic and harmful gases, causing harm to workers working in the lower cabin. Aiming at the goals of pollution reduction and carbon reduction, green environmental protection, and sustainable integration and high-quality development, the port and Liugong actively carry out "production, education, research and use". In June 2022, the first Liugong 5G remote control electric loader arrived, and in September, it officially achieved cabin cleaning. The cleaning efficiency reached the level of manual operation, and the effect was significant. This year, two Liugong 5G remote control electric loaders, 856HE MAX, and one 5G remote control electric excavator, 922FE, were added.

The 5G intelligent remote control pure electric loader independently developed by Liugong represents the latest development direction of construction machinery and has also been highly recognized by its partners. This cooperation has pioneered the research and application of the first 5G remote-controlled electric loader in port clearance technology, achieving significant breakthroughs in traditional mechanical digitization, electrification, energy-saving, and intelligence, significantly reducing internal combustion equipment and pollutant emissions, truly achieving zero emissions, zero pollution, and low noise. The driver remotely controls the operation at the back end, eliminating potential hazards to personal safety and occupational health caused by harsh working environments.

Economic benefits are also the "winning secret" of Liugong 5G remote control electric loader. Since the implementation of the project in June 2022, it has saved about 100000 yuan in maintenance costs compared to internal combustion equipment, saved over 40 tons of diesel oil per year, and saved over 400000 yuan in usage costs per year. At the same time, it has reduced carbon emissions by over 140 tons.

The 856HE MAX electric loader has been awarded the 2023 TOP50 "New Energy Market Breakthrough Gold Award". Based on this, the 5G remote control electric loader integrates 5G ultra remote control, intelligent shovel loading, one button function, etc. It has functions such as stepless adjustment of unloading height and automatic buffering. The operation is simple, and operations such as shovel loading, leveling, and unloading can be easily completed with just one button, suitable for various working conditions that pose a threat to personal safety and health.

The 922FE electric excavator won the TOP50 "New Energy Application Practice Gold Award" in 2023, and has been validated under various harsh working conditions from plateau to underwater tunnels. The 5G remote control version is equipped with remote control technology, providing drivers with a comfortable and safe operating experience. The advanced fully electronic hydraulic system and multiple working modes ensure excellent handling of electric products, greatly improving the overall safety, energy conservation, dynamic experience, reliability, and durability of the entire machine.
