Recently, at the signing ceremony of the 7th South China International Expo and the 27th Kunming International Trade Fair Economic and Trade Cooperation Project, the People's Government of Huize County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province, signed an investment and development agreement for the Qujing Jinzhong Wind Farm project with Yunnan Energy Investment Co., Ltd.

The planned total installed capacity of the Jinzhong Wind Farm project in Qujing City is 470MW. Developed in two phases, with Huize County as the boundary and Jinzhong Wind Farm Phase I project in the north, with a scale of 350MW and an estimated total investment of 2.344 billion yuan; The southern part is the Jinzhong Wind Farm Phase II project, with a scale of 120MW and an estimated total investment of 765 million yuan.

After the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected that the annual output value will be 340 million yuan and the tax revenue will be over 40 million yuan, which can drive more than 30 people to find employment. The Jinzhong Wind Farm obtained approval for the access system plan on August 10, 2021, and has completed project approval and started construction. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed and put into grid operation before December 31, 2023.
