On August 31, 2023, the entire Guinan high-speed railway connecting Guiyang and Nanning was opened and put into operation, adding a new transportation artery to the southwest region.
As the G4308 train departs from Nanning East Station towards the north of Guiyang, the entire Guinan high-speed railway line is open for operation. The Guinan high-speed railway is an important component of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network from Baotou to Haikou, with a total length of 482 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Among them, the Guiyang to Li band was put into operation on August 8th, and the newly opened band this time is the Nanning to Li band. After the entire line is opened, the railway travel time from Nanning to Guiyang will be shortened from over 5 hours to the fastest of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
