At 14:18 on August 31, 2023, the first phase of the West Hydropower Company's distributed photovoltaic project, ground photovoltaic 4.2MWp, was successfully connected to the grid. This project is an important layout for the implementation of the "double carbon" strategy and the realization of the green transformation development of enterprises, and is also a key project of the "Increment brand" of Western Hydropower Company.

QINGHAI investment actively implements the "double carbon" goal, ecological environmental protection, energy security and a series of major directives, combined with the requirements of Qinghai Province's energy planning and development, as well as the strategic positioning of the company by the State Power Investment Group, and put forward the company's strategic vision of "three platforms, four goals, to build a domestic first-class enterprise". We will actively plan and distribute new energy development projects.

The project started on July 3, took 60 days of careful installation, and finally realized power generation. During the construction of the project, the project team rationally organized planning, formulated detailed construction plans, and did a series of work such as heat prevention and cooling to ensure safety and zero accidents and zero quality defects.

The total design capacity of the project is 17.9MWp, the use of "self-use" mode, the annual average power generation of about 27.4860 million kWh, can save about 80,600 tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions about 25,600 tons, reduce sulfur dioxide emissions about 95.08 tons, truly realize green energy supply and energy use. At the same time, this project is a substantive step taken by the investment to vigorously implement energy conservation and consumption reduction, actively implement the "QINGHAI Carbon Peak Implementation Plan", promote the "four transformation" strategic deployment of national power investment, and explore and practice the new model of "aluminum + photovoltaic".
