This project is the result of Zhongxiang Overseas Company actively collaborating with various sister units of the group to go overseas.

On September 5th, a consortium of Hunan Construction Investment Group's Zhongxiang Overseas and Zhongxiang Capital held a cooperation framework signing ceremony in Auckland with the New Zealand local energy farm project company for three photovoltaic projects in Wellsford, Oppnak, and Marton, with a total capacity of 280MW and a total investment of approximately NZD 414 million.

This signing is another major breakthrough for Hunan Construction Investment Group in the New Zealand market, following the Auckland Barrokliff project, DHB affordable housing project, and Roskill Mountain housing construction project. It marks the group's official entry into the New Zealand new energy market, which is of great milestone significance for the subsequent development of the New Zealand market. It also lays a solid foundation for the group to achieve international business transformation and upgrading, and radiate to the surrounding markets of the South Pacific.

It is reported that New Zealand's electricity demand will increase by about 18-78% in the next thirty years, and plans to achieve 100% renewable energy generation by 2035 and zero carbon emissions by 2050, making New Zealand the first developed country to achieve 100% clean energy.Editor/GaoLiMei
