As a pioneer and practitioner of the Belt and Road Initiative, the China-Uzbekistan natural gas pipeline project is an important part of the Belt and Road infrastructure connectivity. It is committed to improving the lives of people along the route, strengthening the friendship between the two peoples and enhancing China-Uzbekistan economic and trade cooperation, and is a model of China-Uzbekistan energy cooperation.

Located in the Kizilkum Desert of Bukhara region, the WKC2 station is the hub station of the AB line of the China-Uzbekistan Natural Gas Pipeline, which shoulders the task of transporting natural gas from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan under mixed pressure downward. Editor/Xu Shengpeng
