On September 8-10, 2023, the "the Belt and Road Initiative in Bangladesh" exhibition in 2023 was held at the Bangladesh China Friendship Exhibition Center. Nearly 60 Chinese enterprises and local enterprises, banks and government agencies in Bangladesh have set up more than 100 booths to show the achievements of the the Belt and Road Initiative in Bangladesh.

In recent years, Bangladesh and China have achieved fruitful cooperation under the the Belt and Road Initiative. We have built a large number of roads, bridges, and power energy projects in Bangladeshi Chinese enterprises, participated in the construction of sewage treatment plants, university campuses, carried out river training, surface water treatment, etc., and generated employment for at least 550000 local people. We have made positive contributions to promoting Bangladeshi economic and social development and improving people's well-being in different fields.

The senior manager of Akoki Company in Bangladesh stated that there are many booths here, and many Chinese companies have come. We also export products to China, and the Chinese people are very good. Their spirit of cooperation impressed me deeply. I hope this relationship can continue and the relationship between Bangladesh and China can further develop.

Rahman, the managing director of Bangladesh Vision Group, said: All Bangladeshis know about the the Belt and Road Initiative. Without the the Belt and Road Initiative, Bangladesh cannot develop so fast. We hope to continue to promote the the Belt and Road Initiative, which will create more investment opportunities. Bangladesh will also continue to move forward with the help of the Chinese government and the the Belt and Road Initiative.

During the exhibition, people from China and Bangladesh discussed the important opportunities brought by the the Belt and Road Initiative for Bangladesh to develop and promote world connectivity, believing that China Bangladesh cooperation in the future is promising. Editor/Zhao E
