In today's highly integrated global economy, cross-border logistics and trade cooperation between China and Europe increasingly highlights its strategic value. To strengthen cooperation in this critical area, an international forum co-hosted by multiple levels of governments and institutions will be held in Lianyungang City. The forum aims to gather industry elites and is also an important opportunity for China-Europe Railway services to further optimize their services and expand their scale under the framework of the Belt and Road.

On September 15, 2023, the China-Europe Express International Cooperation Forum will be held in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province. The Forum was jointly hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Transport, the General Administration of Customs, China National Railway Group, Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Heilongjiang Provincial People's Government, Henan Provincial People's Government, Chongqing Municipal People's Government, Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Government, and hosted by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government.
