In 2023, Xiamen, Fujian added 22 new Silk Road sea routes. As of now, there are a total of 116 Silk Road sea routes connecting 131 ports in 43 countries and regions. At Xi'an International Port Station in Shaanxi, there is an average of 1 hour and 40 minutes per day for a China Europe train to depart or arrive, and 17 international trunk lines of China Europe trains are operating normally.

From sea routes to steel camel fleets on land, and then to the air Silk Road, the logistics network that extends in all directions is creating more new opportunities for economic and trade cooperation. The convenience and smoothness of trade have made China more closely cooperate with the the Belt and Road partner industry chain and supply chain, and more and more foreign trade enterprises participate in the the Belt and Road market.

From January to August 2023, China's import and export to 152 countries along the the Belt and Road will reach 12.62 trillion yuan, up 3.6% year on year, accounting for 46.6% of China's foreign trade. It is understood that China's import and export to countries jointly building the the Belt and Road account for more than 40% of China's total import and export.
