Turkey's Hunutlu coal power station, China's largest direct investment project in Turkey, is also an important part of China's Belt and Road Initiative. As an international project, the proposal initially faced technical collisions from all over the world. When competing with a German company, the Chinese team accurately designed a plan to save tens of millions of dollars in cost and ensure safety according to local geological conditions, which was widely recognized.
