On September 28, 2023, the Baotou Public Resource Trading Center released a public announcement of the bid winning candidates for the survey and design of the National Highway 210 section from Guyang to Donghe. The construction site of the project is located in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, with an estimated total investment of approximately 4.15 billion yuan.

Project scale
Route direction and main control points: The starting point of this project is located about 1.2 kilometers north of Meilingshan Village in the southwest of Jinshan Town, Guyang County, Baotou City. It connects with the Baiyunebo to Guyang section of National Highway 210, passes through Hujigou, Damiao, and Shiguai New District, and ends at the northwest side of Haolaigou Village, Donghe District. An interchange is set up to cross the G6 Beijing Tibet Expressway, and then connects with National Highway 110 near K665+260.
Construction scale: The total length of the main line of the project is about 48.46 kilometers, including a newly built section of about 32.26 kilometers and a reconstructed section of about 16.2 kilometers. There is one tunnel with a length of approximately 1.6 kilometers, three interchanges, one parking area, one toll station, one maintenance area, one overrun detection station, one tunnel management station, and two tunnel substations along the entire line.

Technical standards: the main line is constructed according to the standard of first-class highway, with a design speed of 80km/h, an integral subgrade of 25.5m wide and a separate subgrade of 2 × 12.75 meters. The asphalt concrete pavement is used, and the vehicle load for bridge and culvert design adopts Highway - Class I. Other technical indicators shall be implemented in accordance with the "Technical Standards for Highway Engineering" (JTG B01-2014) issued by the Ministry of Transport.
