On October 8, 2023, the Caofeidian Ore Logistics Park project and the Jingtang Port Bulk Cargo Logistics Park project began construction on the same day in the Caofeidian Port Area and Jingtang Port Area. The commencement of the construction of two major logistics park projects is a concrete practice to accelerate the pace of Tangshan's "Three Efforts to Build" and "Three Leads Ahead", and is also an important measure for Hebei Province to promote development and strength towards the sea.

The Caofeidian Ore Logistics Park project is jointly constructed by Hebei Port Group and Caofeidian District, Tangshan City, with a planned total investment of approximately 13.8 billion yuan. On the basis of further releasing the storage capacity of existing storage yards, we will build digital and intelligent storage yards, as well as supporting facilities such as docks and pipe galleries, expand value-added service functions such as bonded, mixed mixing, screening, and spot futures trading platforms, and add 40 million tons of static storage capacity.

The Jingtang Port Bulk Cargo Logistics Park project is jointly constructed by Hebei Port Group and Tangshan Port Economic Development Zone, with a planned total investment of approximately 15.4 billion yuan. The project includes the construction of two 300000 ton bulk cargo berths and virtual mines, the renovation of railway yards in the port area, and the promotion of centralized layout of bulk cargo operations in the Jingtang Port area, with an additional static storage capacity of 25 million tons.

After the completion of the two major logistics park projects, they will fully utilize the direct shipping conditions of 400000 ton ships in Caofeidian Port Area and the "front port and back park" sea rail public transportation mode in Jingtang Port Area, build a new system for bulk cargo logistics, further consolidate the position of the main hub port for energy and raw materials, and enhance the security guarantee capacity of the industrial chain supply chain.
