On October 15, 2023, Hanyang District, Wuhan City held a business promotion and third quarter project signing conference. At the event, 36 projects, including the Agricultural Development Investment Fund project, Zhigu Perioperative Medical Research Institute project, Yihe Chuangyuan Universe Cultural and Creative Project, Tianjin Teda Comprehensive Construction Project, and Zhigu Supercharged Integrated Charging Power Grid project, were collectively signed, with a total contract amount of 35.1 billion yuan.

It is reported that the signed project is led by the digital economy, covering various fields such as engineering design and construction, healthcare, financial investment, exhibition, culture and tourism, and human resources. Among them, the Zhigu Supercharged Comprehensive Charging Network Project will build a smart city transportation and energy service network in the Central China Cross Urban Agglomeration. It is planned to invest a total of 600 million yuan over five years in Wuhan to build 100 new energy overcharge stations and comprehensive overcharge stations, and to build 20 charging stations in Xiangyang, Yichang, Shiyan, Suizhou, and other places.

Currently, the Hanyang Station high-speed rail functional area is under planning and construction, which will lead the rise of a high-speed rail 4.0 demonstration new city in the western part of Hanyang; Hanyang Science and Technology Innovation Research Institute has taken the lead in building a science and technology innovation platform that combines technology docking, technology transformation, investment incubation, and talent recruitment at the district and county levels.
