In recent years, the relations between China and Nicaragua have gradually warmed up, and the cooperation between the two countries in the fields of economy, trade, investment and culture has been continuously deepened. Nicaragua has signed a framework cooperation agreement with state-owned China State Construction Engineering Corporation to finance and build seven large-scale highway projects in the country. The signing of this agreement marks a new stage in the economic cooperation between China and Nicaragua, and is also an important development in the investment of Chinese enterprises in Latin America.

According to reports, the framework cooperation agreement was signed in the presence of Nicaraguan President Ortega and a number of senior officials. Under the agreement, China State Construction Engineering Corporation will provide financing, design and construction support for seven large-scale highway projects in Nicaragua over the next few years. These projects include infrastructure such as roads, Bridges and tunnels connecting key Nicaraguan cities, and the total amount is expected to reach billions of dollars.

Construction and expansion of the Portezuelo-Las Mercedes motorway in Managua, including the Portezuelo, El Dancing and La Subasta overpasses

Construction of bridge Lisawe (Northern mountains, near Cuna Siuna)

Construction of Bridges Labu (Northern mountains, near Cuna Siuna)

Construction of the bridge Prinzapolka (Caribbean coast)

China State Construction Engineering Corporation said that through this cooperation agreement, they will provide high-quality engineering services to Nicaragua and contribute to the country's economic development. At the same time, the company will also use this opportunity to further expand its business scope in Latin America and enhance its international competitiveness.

Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega expressed great joy at the signing of this cooperation agreement, saying that it will inject new impetus into the economic development of Nicaragua.
